Ershowsky Phyllis K. Ershowsky, a public relations and marketing professional in Southwest Florida for 15 years, has announced the opening of her firm, PKE Marketing & PR Solutions. She will continue to provide public relations planning, consultation and implementation, marketing and media strategies and writing services to area businesses and organizations. During the past 25 years, she has provided public relations and marketing services for banks, healthcare, education, tourism, local government, marine construction, home fashion and design, jewelers and real estate. A graduate of Vassar College, Ershowsky has a Master's in Business Administration and is an accredited PR professional.

Fort Myers public relations expert Susan Bennett, president of Susan Bennett Marketing & Media, recently presented a White Paper on strategic planning to the statewide membership of the Florida Public Relations Association. Bennett was asked to prepare the White Paper, one of only four issued each year by the state office of FPRA in Sarasota, because of her 35 years of experience in marketing and public relations and experience in strategic planning with numerous organizations and businesses. Bennett's White Paper describes the importance of strategic planning in developing a marketing plan, how to write clearly defined, measurable goals and objectives, and why it is important to have a written plan.

Bennett Julia Babair and Kara Winton of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association recently earned professional certification in public relations, receiving the designation of Certified Public Relations Counselor. Babair and Winton join an elite group of less than 50 practitioners throughout Florida who demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and advanced consultation skills in the practice of public relations. Babair is the manager of account services for Priority Marketing in Fort Myers, where she has worked for more than seven years. Winton, is a marketing and public relations account manager for Priority Marketing, where she has worked for more than three years.
