Judah The Lee County Board of Port Commissioners elected Ray Judah chair and Frank Mann vice chair during its first meeting of 2008 on Jan. 14. The board, composed of the five Lee County commissioners, meets bimonthly as the Board of Port Commissioners to set policy and direct the operations of Southwest Florida International Airport and Page Field General Aviation Airport in Fort Myers. The other Port Commissioners include Brian Bigelow, Tammy Hall and Bob Janes. The Lee County Port Authority has more than 360 employees and an annual budget of $270.2 million.

Trish Leonard, Director of Business Development for the architectural and engineering firm Odle McGuire Shook in Bonita Springs, will serve as Chairperson of the Lee County School District Construction Advisory Committee through October 2008. The Construction Advisory Committee evaluates the feasibility of school-initiated construction projects and provides recommendations for the cost-efficient construction of these projects. As chairperson, Leonard oversees and conducts all Construction Advisory Committee meetings with help from members of the public and community organizations.
