Florida Rep now has babysitting nights

A Night Out on the Town is not just for grown-ups at the Florida Repertory Theatre. The Award-Winning Florida Rep is now offering more ways than ever before for the Whole Family to have Fun in the Historic River District.

In addition to the already numerous Education Programs, Florida Rep unveiled its newest offering especially for parents: $10 Baby Sitting Nights.

"How about a play date...for the parents?" says the Rep's Director of Audience Development, Rachel Burttram. "We want people of all ages and demographics to enjoy live professional theatre, but sometimes having little ones can get in the way of the parents' social life."

In order to give parents the chance to go to the theatre, one Friday night has been set aside for each of Florida Rep's next three main stage offerings.

While their parents see the play, children will take part in an interactive theatre workshop, enjoy a snack and games. The cost for Babysitting is $10 for children ages 4 to 11 with the purchase of two regular price tickets ($38 each) to the selected performances of Doubt, Forum, Breaking Legs and Visiting Mr. Green. The dates are: A Funny Thing... Forum Starring Tony Nominated Actor, Stephen Mo Hanan Feb. 29 at 8 p.m. Breaking Legs April 1 at 8 p.m. No joke. Visiting Mr. Green May 16 at 8 p.m.
