European-inspired Promenade at Miromar Lakes completed

COURTESY PHOTO The Promenade Construction on The Promenade, a European-style brick-paved walkway at Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club, has been completed.

Inspired by the Boulevard de La Croisette in Cannes, France, The Promenade captures the same ambiance with beautiful water views, stately royal palm trees and strategically placed flowerfilled container gardens. Connecting the waterfront neighborhoods of Costa Maggiore, Costa del Lago and The Peninsula, the winding pathway is ideal for a leisurely walk, fishing, bird watching, and is illuminated for evening strolls. Plans for The Promenade, which is on the shores of Lake Maggiore, may include a boat dock with shuttle service between neighborhoods, the Beach Clubhouse and the planned Marina Club.

"The Promenade provides residents with a scenic and convenient pedestrian thoroughfare between the various neighborhoods, and will be an ideal venue for hosting outdoor events such as art exhibits," said Jerry Schmoyer, executive vice president of Miromar Development.

Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club is located in Miromar Lakes, just north of Naples. Take exit 123 off I-75, turn right onto Corkscrew Road and drive a half mile east past the International Design Center and Miromar Outlets to Ben Hill Griffin Parkway. Turn left and continue 2.8 miles north to Miromar Lakes. The Sales Center is located outside of the gated entrance.
