Rick Compton and Betsy Bennett have worked together for more than ten years writing, producing and performing in soldout hits such as Trouble In Paradise, How To Succeed In Naples Without Really Trying and The History Of Collier County… According To Us! Last November, the creative team was seen at Art Royale in their artistic installation, Word Games.

A Cracker At The Ritz is an original two-act, two-person satirical musical revue which exposes the ironies, foibles and absurdities of life in Southwest Florida. Characters include: Naomi Lipshitz-Finklestein- Murphy, a realtor;

Cap'n Baldrick, a pirate; Ariel, a local artiste; J.J. "Buddy" Smudgepot, Attorney- At-Law; and Inbred Ed who is not himself inbred although he aspires to it as he has a very attractive cousin.

Songs include A Ton-and-a-half of Cadillac Steel, The Owners Association, Dear Fort Myers High and the plaintive spring break lament, Tattoo on My Butt.
