Tony Calamela Tony and Danielle Calamela have been named the November sales leaders for the Southwest Florida market of Pulte Homes, Inc. The Calamelas are a sales associate team at Majestic Palms, a Fort Myers condominium and carriage home community built and developed by Pulte Homes. Tony and Danielle Calamela are natives of Fort Lauderdale and both attended the University of Florida. Tony Calamela earned a bachelor of arts in criminology at the university, and Danielle Calamela earned a bachelor of science in business administration. Prior to joining Pulte Homes in 2002, Tony Calamela served as a deputy with the Collier County Sheriff's Office. Danielle Calamela joined Pulte Homes in 2000 and has held several positions sales, marketing and management positions. Tony and Danielle Calamela are recipients of the Certified Sales Professional designation.
Tina Martin has joined Engel & Völkers Fort Myers River District, a real estate brokerage, as office manager. Prior to becoming part of the Engel & Voelkers' team, Ms. Martin worked as an Assistant Property Manager. Martin's work focused on accounting, administrative and resident/ tenant activities, commercial real estate, retail, industrial, and office management of properties in Southwest Florida. She graduated in 1978 from the State University of New York at Fredonia and received her B.A. in Graphic Design and Illustration. Martin has sixteen years of professional experience working in the Advertising and Graphic arts industry in New York.
Danielle Calamela Cheryl Peppers, Ph.D., CCIM, a licensed sales associate specializing in office/ medical and retail real estate sales for Market America Realty & Investments, Inc. was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation
by the CCIM Institute, one of the nation's leading commercial real estate associations. Peppers began her commercial real estate career in 1985 with California Federal (now Citibank) in Los Angeles. Her duties included the development of spreadsheets, calculating present values of REO assets and leasehold positions as banks at the time were taking back large office buildings and office space was overbuilt. Peppers went on to earn her Ph.D. in organization behavior and consulted for 15 years with various managements and businesses. Her previous clients include Fortune 500 companies, health care organizations, and professional service firms. Her work history also includes experience as an investor with a company which holds title to numerous income properties in Lee County.
Peppers Gilkey Organization, a Bonita Springsbased real estate consulting group, has hired Donald R. Schrotenboer to serve as vice president of Gilkey Advisors, a new business division that will focus exclusively on expert advisory services for large land owners who embrace the principles of sustainable development. Gilkey Advisors will offer a full spectrum of land development advisory services including site evaluation, entitlements and permitting strategies, market positioning, community master planning, community outreach and education, community governance, and development coordination and management. Schrotenboer brings more than nine years of experience in land development and entitlement to Gilkey Advisors. Most recently, he spent six years as director of project development for the nationally recognized town of Ave Maria in Collier County. Previously, Schrotenboer served as chief operating officer and director of development for Ave Maria International Golf Clubs in Ann Arbor, Mich. Schrotenboer is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Ave Maria Stewardship Community District Board of Directors, the Southwest Florida Transportation Initiative, the Club Managers Association of America and the Golf Course Owners Association. He also serves as vice president of the Bishop Verot High School Board of Directors.
