COURTESY PHOTO Six Mile Cypress Office Park is expanding with a fifth building expected to begin construction later this month, officials said. Six Mile Cypress Office Park announced plans to build a fifth building at the established office complex on Six Mile Cypress Parkway, just south of the I-75 and Colonial Boulevard intersection.

Plans are completed, permit applications submitted, and construction is expected to commence this month, said Terri Dawson, owner/broker for Florida Investors, the developer and manager of Six Mile Cypress Office Park.

"Building 5 will include 12,100 square feet of office space available for lease," said Dawson. The new building will overlook a large freshwater lake and Six Mile Cypress Slough nature preserve. Customized office space is being pre-leased in units from 1,000 square feet with occupancy expected in December 2008.

Six Mile Cypress Office Park already comprises 4 multi-tenant buildings with over 60,000 square feet of leased office space. Major tenants include Lennar Homes LLC, Universal American Mortgage Company, The Sherwin Williams Company, Banks Engineering, Florida Gems Realty, Herndon Carr & Company, Ajax Paving, and Florida Investors.

Florida Investors, (239) 278-5800, is representing the available space and provides development and management services for the entire park.
