• Sing faux design to enhance your home - Saturday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m.
Gordon River Décor artists Mary McIntyre and Tim North will speak about the use of decorative painting and faux finishing. Perk up a wall, a niche, a tray ceiling and other surfaces with the application of unique hand-painted plasters and decorative glazes. Learn how the use of faux design can add spaciousness, dimension and life to any room or surface.
• Cook better, eat Better, live better with an Aga - Saturday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m.
You'll be amazed at the energy efficiency of this kitchen range with a hundred-year-old legacy. Most often thought of as a British cooker, the Aga was actually invented in Sweden by a blind Nobel Prize-winning physicist who was inspired by his wife to develop a cooker that would look after itself. Considered one of the world's great design icons, the Aga is now available for American homes. Enjoy a demonstration from an Aga Group representative and learn about other British-inspired kitchen designs.
