Colorful art at Harbour View Gallery this month

Art piece by D.J. Lorentz Jan Ellen Atkielski and D.J. Lorentz will be the featured artists at the Harbour View Gallery at Cape Harbour this month.

Atkielski is a contemporary impressionist. Her paintings use color and form to

create mood and tempt the viewer to feel the warm sun, or cool mist. She entices you "to want to be in" the painting. She has exhibited extensively since 1972 and splits her time between gallery exhibits and creating commissioned paintings and custom murals for an extensive and growing list of patrons. Jan Ellen graduated with a BS Degree in Art from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.

D.J. Lorentz sees art in everything and can create art out of anything. Lorentz is well known for her whimsical and colorful painted furniture and findings, as well as her delightful and entertaining assemblages. The arts of her more serious side give honor to the earth and to women, with beautifully altered photographic art, awesome rock sculptures, beautifully sculpted, painted and pyro-engraved gourds plus incredible assemblage art dolls.
