J.L. Wallace Inc. and Royal Corinthian Homes have partnered with Toys for Tots this holiday season to collect toys for children in the local community.
A well-known program created by the U.S. Marine Corps, the Toys for Tots collection drive will continue through Dec. 17, at the J.L. Wallace and Royal Corinthian Homes office (9111 West College Point Drive). The public is invited to drop off new, unwrapped toys as Christmas gifs for underprivileged children. In addition, employees of the two companies are enthusiastically supporting this worthwhile organization by soliciting contributions and making toy donations.
"We hope the public will help us to exceed last year's drive, in which we collected more than 250 toys," said Jerry Wallace, president of J.L. Wallace Inc. and Royal Corinthian Homes Inc. "As a family-oriented company, nothing brings us greater joy than to bring smiles to the faces of children."
Toys for Tots helps children in need throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas. The program is designed to unite all members of local communities in a common cause each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign.
