Dennis A. Landfried has joined FineMark National Bank & Trust as senior vice president of trust and investments. Landfried's responsibilities will include developing and cultivating longterm relationships and evaluating clients' banking, investment and trust needs. Landfried has 11 years of banking and relationship development experience, including his previous position as senior investment and trust consultant for a bank in Fort Myers. A Certified Trust Financial Advisor, Landfried has a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Florida. He is an active member of several community organizations and has served as chairman of the board of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Southwest Florida. Commerce Bank of Southwest Florida, a locally owned and operated community bank, announced the promotion of Betsy Newman to the position of Vice President, Residential Mortgage Manager. In this role, Newman will be directly responsible for all the bank's residential mortgage and lending functions. Newman has 25 years of professional experience. She originally started in the profession locally with a family-owned business in Fort Myers, specializing in mortgage, real estate and building. She attended Fort Myers High School and Santa Fe Community College.
