Hospice

Beckwith Samira K. Beckwith, President and CEO of Hope Hospice and Community Services, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the American Society of Pain Educators. The ASPE is dedicated to training healthcare professionals to serve as specialized resources for pain management in clinical settings. As the only organization for pain educator training, the ASPE teach- es healthcare professionals to educate their peers and patients, together with families and caregivers on ways to relieve pain by the safest means possible. Beckwith was appointed to the Board because of her extensive experience on the local, state and national levels in hospice and longterm care.
