Fall festival at Ave Maria this Saturday

The first Ave Maria Fall Festival, a celebration of the autumn season, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20 in Immokalee. This free event will give Ave Maria residents and visitors of all ages a chance to enjoy a variety of seasonal activities throughout the town and at La Piazza, the town center.

At the Children's Pumpkin Patch, youngsters will be able to pick their own pumpkins. They'll also have a chance to have their faces painted, enter number-guessing contests, meet clowns and marvel at the skills of stilt walkers and balloon artists. Adults will be entertained by the sounds of the Traditional Heidelberg Polka Band.

Ave Maria is located in Eastern Collier County, on Oil Well Road.
