The Bonita Bay Group has named Stephen Long the executive chef at Verandah Club, the private golf and country club at Verandah, the company's 1,456- acre master-planned community located along a 1.75-mile stretch of the Orange River in Fort Myers. As executive chef, Long assumes overall responsibility for the Jesse Fish lounge and Alligator Pear restaurant at Verandah's River House, including regular dining and special events. Long, a graduate with honors of the Johnson and Wales Culinary University, joined Verandah from the Orchid Island Golf and Beach Club in Vero Beach. He began his career at age 15 at Tangos Restaurant in Vero Beach, working his way up through the kitchen to sous chef under the guidance of top chef Ben Tench. He previously worked at Charleston Place Hotel in South Carolina and as executive sous chef for the Moorings Club in Vero Beach. Long has more than 16 years of culinary experience. Izabella Topilyer has joined RE/MAX Realty Group, Fort Myers, as a Residential Agent. Prior to becoming a Realtor 3 years ago, Izabella was a hair replacement technician and a member of the National Hair Replacement Design Team for the manufacturer, possessing a high level of experience in sales and customer relations. She is fluent in Russian and Lithuanian and can communicate in Polish, Belorussian and Ukranian languages. She firmly believes in customer satisfaction and professionalism. Izabella is a member of the REALTOR Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach, Inc. Lori DuBell has joined RE/MAX Realty Group, Fort Myers, as a Residential Agent. She has ranked in the top 1 percent of all agents and brokers in the U.S. DuBell has been a multi-state Licensed Broker/Associate, in Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New York. In her 20-plus years as a Broker/ Associate, her expertise includes, single family home acquisitions, development and marketing residential communities, as well as the Broker/Owner of her own real estate brokerage and development firm. Her designations include the Accredited Buyer Representative awarded by the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council, Inc. of the National Association of Realtors.
