Hangar dance to benefit Sundowners

Sundown Patrol of Lee County, Inc., a non-profit club that flies on the weekends helping stranded boaters, will hold their only fund raising event of the year, a hangar dance featuring live dance music on Nov. 3 at Page Field.

SOARIN' OVER LEE COUNTY will feature the big band sounds of JJ's Band, an Elvis impersonator, and barbeque dinner catered by Smokey Bones Barbeque and Grill.

"This event is our only fund raiser and supports the weekend patrols in search of boaters in distress," said Mark Millar the President of Sundowners, Inc. "We expect tremendous support from the boating and aviation communities."

Tickets are $30 and include dinner, drinks and dancing. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 10:30 on Nov. 3 at ACI Hangar, 325 Danley Dr. in Fort Myers. For more information or to order tickets please contact Helen Steinberg, coordinator of tickets and publicity, at 910-2462 or email her at pilot@capecoralbuilder.net. ¦
