Parrish Harlan C. Parrish, president and CEO of Colonial Bank's Florida West Coast region, has been appointed to the Bank Administration Institute Board of Directors. Parrish is the only Florida executive serving on the 22-member board. Headquartered in Chicago, the BAI is the financial services industry's leading professional organization, focused on enhancing employee and organizational performance. The board of directors advises the institute on a broad range of topics including governance, planning and market feedback. In turn, the institute advises banking leaders around the country. Parrish has been with Colonial Bank since 1984 and has served as CEO in Southwest Florida since 1999. He is active in numerous civic and community organizations in both Lee and Collier counties, including the United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades County and the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools. First Community Bank of Southwest Florida has appointed David Barbur as Executive Vice President and Senior Loan Officer, announced bank President and Chief Operating Officer David Hall. Barbur has more than 25 years of banking expertise. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Business Banking Risk Manager for a regional bank. Barbur also currently serves as the Board President of Abuse Counseling and Treatment Inc, and as the President Elect of the Rotary Club of Fort Myers-Sunrise. First Community Bank of Southwest Florida is part of Southwest Community Bancorp Inc., a local community bank group including Community Bank of Cape Coral and Sanibel Captiva Community Bank. ¦
