Local optometrist publishes article

Aaron Judd, a board-certified optometrist in practice with local ophthalmologist Dr. Jonathan M. Frantz of Florida Eye Health, was published in the Winter 2007 Journal of the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry.

The article, entitled "Using the Original Judd-Lievens C/D Ratio Grading Card to Improve Interobserver Reliability" discusses the assessment of the optic disc, an essential part of glaucoma screening and management. Judd co-authored the article after completing a research study with one of his colleagues, Christopher Lievens at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis.
