Lee Mental Health names new director
Dr. Marianne G. Krouk, D.O., has been named Medical Director of Lee Mental Health Center, Inc., the Fort Myers-based non-profit community behavioral health care provider.
Throughout her more than 20 years of experience in the field of psychiatry, Krouk has held various positions. Most recently, Krouk was Chief Medical Officer at The Bradley Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has also held positions of attending psychiatrist for a regional healthcare system, medical director of a chemical dependency and substance abuse program, director of an adolescent inpatient unit, and chief of child and adolescent services. Krouk has also served as a county psychiatric consultant and managed her own private psychiatry practice for five years.
She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the American Osteopathic Association. She holds two certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and licenses in Pennsylvania and Florida.
Krouk is a graduate of Lake Forest College (Ill.), Skidmore College (N.Y.) and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed both her residency in psychiatry and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at The Medical College of Pennsylvania - Eastern Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute. ¦
