Chando Joanne Chando, Broker/ Owner of Avalar Gulf Coast Properties, has been accepted into the Florida Association of REALTORS Honor Society for the second year. The FAR Honor Society was established 20 years ago to recognize members of local boards and associations who are active in state associations, participate at the local and national levels of the REALTOR organization, are active in NAR's institutes, societies, and councils, have earned designations, participate in educational activities, and for political involvement. Chando serves as a director on the board of the REALTOR Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach and on the Board of Directors of The Florida Association of REALTORS.

Melissa A. Floyd, sales director at Waterside at Bay Beach, has earned her Florida broker's designation. Waterside at Bay Beach is a Fort Myers Beach high-rise condominium community on the south end of Estero Island developed by Giles Development. Originally from Michigan, Floyd moved to Florida in 1996 after graduating from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Mich., with a bachelor of science. She later attended Florida Gulf Coast University and earned a master's degree. Her real estate-related accomplishments include being consistently named a Multi-Million Dollar Top Producer in sales and earning several other superior real estate performance awards. Floyd has also served as sales manager for a national real estate developer.

Floyd Kim Chambers has joined RE/MAX Realty Group, Fort Myers, as a Residential Agent with the Gerard Marino Team. Kim is a registered Florida real estate agent and a member of the REALTOR Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach, Inc.

'JJ' Jones, The Hat Lady of Southwest Florida, and 2007 REALTOR Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach, Inc. President, has joined Avalar Gulf Coast Properties as a Broker-Associate. Ms. Jones holds the PMN and CRB designations.
