Companies donate to Builders Care

Florida Community Bank and Heidt & Associates Inc. have each donated $1,000 to the Lee Building Industry Association Builders Care. The funds will help the agency provide free home repair services to disadvantaged Lee County residents.

"We are grateful to have the support of Florida Community Bank and Heidt & Associates,'' said Wayne Morosco, Builders Care executive director. "Their contribution will help us continue to provide critically needed repairs for deserving elderly and disabled homeowners in our community."

Builders Care is the nonprofit charitable arm of the Lee BIA. Its objective is to provide emergency repairs and construction services to elderly, disabled and economically disadvantaged people who are unable to obtain home repairs through traditional means. Builders Care enlists the volunteer services of Lee BIA members and leverages grants and donated materials to provide construction and remodeling services to qualified homeowners throughout Lee County.
