Latin art at Harborside

The Harborside Event Center invites you to begin the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month with a visit to "A Latin Art Affair", the Community Art Showcase fine art exhibition beginning Sept. 7. This cutting edge show features five local Latino artists whose works are as diverse and electrifying as their countries of origin: Doris Ramos, Ernesto Masis, Juan Diaz, Amarillis Veliz and Lidia Dick. Open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, this exhibition is free, artwork is for sale and entrance to the show is through the Harborside Administrative Office, located on Monroe Street.

"A Latin Art Affair" will premier on Friday evening, Sept. 7, with an Opening Reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Make your reservations, now, to experience great art and meet the artists, partake of complimentary appetizers & beverages and enjoy the innovative Latin sounds of internationally celebrated Havy Rodriguez.
