FGCU students perform at Guitar Festival

Florida Gulf Coast University Bower School of Music sophomores performed a recital at the International Guitar Festival in Miami last month. Mario Arnez, Christian LoGaglio and Edward Rizo performed a variety of pieces at the event held in the Clarke Recital Hall at the University of Miami. FGCU adjunct professor Rafael Padrón is the students' teacher.

"We are proud of our guitar students and the way they are developing," founding director of Music Nancy Cobb-Lippens said. "We commend Mr. Padrón for providing excellent development opportunities for them."

The Bower School of Music's mission is to develop students' individual musical skills, knowledge of musical structure and style, group performance skills and leadership skills acquired through the music program.
