MEDICAL Youngquist Medical has named Steve Skerritt

Skerritt Skerritt as their Quality Assurance Regulatory Manager.

Skerritt is responsible for overseeing quality systems and compliance with all regulatory bodies, and oversees customer transactions. He has more than 13 years of experience in the medical-device field, and over 21 years of experience in manufacturing and quality operations in the aerospace and turbine-manufacturing field. Skerritt is a certified Quality Engineer by the American Society for Quality, and holds a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

REAL ESTATE

Tony and Danielle Calamela have been named the May sales leaders for the Southwest Florida market of Pulte Homes, Inc. The Calamelas are a sales associate team at Majestic Palms, a Fort Myers condominium and carriage home community built and developed by Pulte Homes.

Tony and Danielle Calamela are natives of Fort Lauderdale and both attended the University of Florida. Tony Calamela earned a bachelor of arts in criminology at the university, and Danielle Calamela earned a bachelor of science in business administration.

Calamela Calamela Prior to joining Pulte Homes in 2002, Tony Calamela served as a deputy with the Collier County Sheriff's Office. Danielle Calamela joined Pulte Homes in 2000 and has held several positions sales, marketing and management positions. Tony and Danielle Calamela are recipients of the Certified Sales Professional designation.

Heather Wightman has been named the May sales leader at C.G. Claussen Realty, the real estate marketing company for Waterside at Bay Beach, a high-rise condominium community on the south end of Estero Island developed by Giles Development LLC.

Originally from Lakeland, she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of South Florida, Tampa.

Wightman has been at Waterside for 12 years and has 15 years of Southwest Florida real estate experience. She is a member of the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Myers and The Beach Inc., and is a recipient of the Certified New Homes Sales Professional designation.

Mike Hagan has joined the sales team at Bonita Bay Group Realty.

Calamela Calamela Hagan has 13 years of residential real estate sales experience in Southwest Florida. He has worked in Bonita Bay Group communities since 2001, and won several sales awards at Shadow Wood at The Brooks and Shadow Wood Preserve. He previously worked with Pulte Homes.

Hagan is a member of the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Myers and The Beach and a Certified New Home Sales Professional, a designation given by the National Association of Home Builders' Institute of Residential Marketing. Before launching his real estate career, he was a fourth-generation commercial shrimp fisherman.

CONSTRUCTION Marty McClain has joined Stevens Construction Inc. as project manager for the Fort Myers-based construction management and general contracting firm. In this role, McClain will work directly with the design team and owner, providing estimates and analyzing building construction to ensure that each project is completed on time and within the budget. He also will prepare bid packages, review proposals and negotiate contracts.

Originally from Greenwood, Ind., McClain has more than 23 years of construction industry experience, including 11 years as a project manager. He has successfully managed and completed more than $15 million in construction projects locally over the last three years.

Wightman Wightman McClain is an active member of the Lee County Building Industry Association and serves on the board of directors for the Commercial Contractors Council. He also is a member of the Cape Coral Construction Industry Association. In addition, McClain has received project management certification through the Associated Builders and Contractors and OSHA competent person certification.

FINANCIAL Brian Simon of Alliance Financial Group announces that he has successfully completed the Certified in Long-Term Care designation program.

"I have seen first hand the emotional and financial toll that providing care for a loved one takes on families," Simon said. "It is essential that advisors educate their clients about the consequences failure to have a plan for long-term care could have on those they love."
