Colonial Bank building set
COURTESY RENDERING Artist's rendering of future Colonial Bank Headquarters to be built in Fort Myers. Gora McGahey Associates in Architecture has completed the design for the regional corporate headquarters for Colonial Bank. The headquarters building, serving the area from Manatee to Collier counties will be located at the southeast corner of I-75 and Daniels Parkway in Fort Myers.
A contemporary interpretation of traditional Southern architecture, the twostory building will be the location of the bank's training center and all areas of lending and wealth management administration.
Cristina Meyer is the project manager for Gora McGahey, with Bruce Gora, AIA and Dan McGahey, AIA sharing principal-in-charge responsibilities.
Construction on the project has now begun, with Owen-Ames-Kimball Company serving as construction manager.
Established in 1981, the firm is wellversed in the design of public facilities (schools, financial institutions, country clubs and libraries) medical offices and private residences.
