The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation has an online catalog for its Fifth Annual Auction of Astronaut Experiences and Memorabilia at www.AstronautScholarship.org/Auction.pl

Space fans everywhere can bid on once-ina lifetime adventures with famed astronauts and vie for the chance to win some of the most sought-after space artifacts - those that have been to the Moon.

Auction highlights include:

Experiences:

+ Dive in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with Moonwalker Buzz Aldrin

+ Throw out the first pitch at a Houston Astros game with Apollo 13 Commander James Lovell

+ View a Space Shuttle launch with STS-1 Astronaut Bob Crippen

+ Take a VIP tour of Walt Disney World with Astronaut Winston Scott

+ Host a private dinner party with Moonwalker Charlie Duke

Memorabilia:

+ An American flag that landed on the Moon

+ An Apollo 13 patch flown to the Moon with Lovell

+ A stunning Earth canvas signed by more than 20 Hall of Fame Astronauts

In all, 30 lots will be auctioned online with all proceeds going directly to fund scholarships for exceptional science and engineering students nationwide.

"The astronauts and I are honored to give our time and artifacts for this auction supporting America's future generation of explorers," said Apollo 15 Astronaut and ASF Chairman Al Worden who is auctioning off a chance to see a Denver Broncos game with him. "What a fun way to raise money for such a worthy cause as the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation."
