¦ "Damn Yankees": The musical comedy "Damn Yankees" continues at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre in Fort Myers through April 14. The show deals with a man's obsession with baseball. Forty-year-old old Joe Boyd sells his soul for a chance to lead his favorite team to victory in the pennant race against the New York Yankees. The catch score includes "Heart" and "Whatever Lola Wants." Cocktails and dinner begin at 6 pm Tuesday through Saturday. Shows start at 8. ¦ "Woyzeck": Florida Gulf Coast University presents "Woyzeck" by Georg Buchner. Students perform the German dramatist and writer's prophetic drama of existential emptiness from the 1830's. The show is directed by FGCU Associate Professor Barry Cavin and runs through April 22. Shows are at 8 pm Wednesday through Saturday and 2 pm on Sunday at the Black Box Theater in the Arts Complex at FGCU.
¦ "The Dunes": A play by Craig Pospisil, winner of the 2005-06 new play contest, runs at Theatre Conspiracy begins Thursday, April 19 and runs through May 5. A modern day story inspired by Anton Chekov's "The Cherry Orchard." Fading Actress and matriarch Laura Robertson must come to terms with reality or risk losing everything.
