BEST RED SOX OUTFIELDER TURNED FARMER

Mike Greenwell

Back in the late 1980s and through the mid-1990s, Mike Greenwell played in what used to be known as the garden or pasture, archaic names for the outfield. Mr. Greenwell, a North Fort Myers High graduate, played left field for the Boston Red Sox. Now, Mr. Greenwell, 53, owns 31 Produce, an 80-acre farm and market located in Alva, close to where the town of Babcock Ranch is sprouting.
