Florida Weekly freelancer Glenn Miller, who previously worked for a daily, was upset with the constant layoffs and furloughs (required time off without pay.) He was dismayed with the erosion of journalism and superiors putting profit over people. So he took out his frustration by writing “Grabmore,” a novel in which reporters at a fictional Fort Myers daily newspaper kidnap the visiting obnoxious power-hungry CEO of their corporation.
